Researcher (Visiting): Bimu Yao received support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Excellent Young Scientists Fund in 2021. In June 2010, Yao graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Kuang Yaming Honors School at Nanjing University, majoring in intensive science programs. In 2015, Yao earned a doctoral degree from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and in July of the same year, joined the State Key Laboratory of Infrared Physics at the same institute. From 2013 to 2015, Yao participated in a joint Ph.D. training program at the University of Manitoba in Canada and served as a visiting scholar in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manitoba from 2015 to 2017, focusing on research in the cutting-edge field of 'cavity-magnon-polaritons.' Yao's representative work as the first author has been published in high-impact academic journals such as Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications, Communications Physics, and Physical Review B, receiving positive recognition from peers both domestically and internationally. Yao also serves as a reviewer for academic journals like PRL, IEEE, JAP, and JMMM. Yao was selected for the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program in 2018 and became a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association, CAS, in 2020.

Postdoctoral Researcher: Xiaofei Nie: In July 2009, Xiaofei Nie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Physics and Information Engineering at Henan Normal University. In 2012, Nie received a Master of Science degree from the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Physics at Sichuan University. In January 2021, Nie was awarded a Doctor of Engineering degree from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In March of the same year, Nie joined the School of Physical Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University to engage in postdoctoral research, focusing on quantum well infrared detectors and infrared focal plane arrays.
