Dr. Li received his Ph.D. from the Department of Physics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Dr. Jie Zhang's Group) in 2014. Before joining ShanghaiTech in 2020, he worked with Dr. Peter M. Rentzepis as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Assistant Research Scientist at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Texas A&M University. His research interests include utilizing femtosecond optical, electron, and X-ray pulses to reveal various ultrafast dynamics in condensed matter systems.
